DARPA: New Terror Threats Demand New Technologies

DARPA: New Terror Threats Demand New Technologies
To deal with the complexities of modern warfare, DARPA seeks to develop integrated and layered systems that can continue to give the military a decisive edge. Examples of technologies that could increase in potency when used in this way include “adaptive electronic warfare,” manned and unmanned systems, tactical cyber capabilities, and advanced intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance. “Modern warfare may be too complex for a single new capability to deliver sustained superiority across a variety of scenarios,” according to the document, titled “Driving Technological Surprise: DARPA’s Mission In A Changing World.” The agency’s investment strategy is to use advanced, commercially available technologies where possible while encouraging new development at universities, government labs and private sector companies, as well as through…

DARPA Developing Guided Bullet With DEAD Reckoning Navigation: Not Only Has Your Name On It, But Address Too
DARPA’s director has announced that GPS is past its prime, and war-boffins have set out to create an alternative, or complementary, technology designed to be small enough to fit inside small-caliber ammunition. GPS is wonderfully ubiquitous, and a great gift from the US military to the rest of the world, but it’s not too accurate – and vulnerable to jamming. This is not even to mention that it only works with line of sight to the sky, all of which has prompted DARPA to come up with a better alternative squeezed into an 8mm cube. That model uses gyroscopes, accelerometers and an atomic clock (development of the latter having been kicked off in 2008) to navigate by dead reckoning. Assuming one knows the starting position, or at least where one wishes to be in relation to that point, then navigation is just a matter of knowing one’s speed and duration of travel – with suitable accuracy of course. Last we heard it was being slipped into…

Explosion at fertilizer plant in Texas Dozens Killed, Hundreds Injured Massive blast hit buildings after a fire broke out.

A massive explosion has rocked a fertiliser plant in , and it is understood that 70 people have been killed AND HUNDREDS INJURED.
• Firefighters had been called to the plant in West, about 20 miles north of , and were on scene tackling a fire when the explosion occurred.
• The blast could be heard 45 miles away, and there are reports of damaged buildings across a wide area.

‘Fire officials fear that the number of casualties could rise as high as 60 to 70 dead,’ said West Emergency Medical Services director Dr George Smith

‘That’s a really rough number, I’m getting that figure from firefighters, we don’t know yet,’ he said. ‘We have two EMS personnel that are dead for sure, and there may be three firefighters that are dead,’ he said.

The fire broke out at the plant earlier on Wednesday evening and erupted into a huge explosion while firefighters were battling the flames.

Dozens of emergency vehicles amassed at the scene in the hours after the blast, as fires continued to smolder in the ruins of the plant and in several surrounding buildings.

Some 172 people have been hospitalized, according to ABC, 24 people in a critical state and 38 in a serious condition.

Dozens Killed, Hundreds Injured In Fertilizer Plant Explosion

WACO (CBSDFW.COM) –  A fertilizer plant explosion in the town of West, north of Waco, has killed as many as 70 people and injured hundreds.  However, no official numbers have been released.

Meanwhile, the residents of the town of 2,700 are being asked to evacuate due to ammonia fumes after the explosion of West Fertilizer. The plant is located at 1471 Jerry Mashek Drive, just off Interstate-35.  School buses and ambulances are being used to evacuate residents from the area.

Firefighters had been called to the plant to battle a small fire around 7 p.m. Crews were working to bring the blaze under control when the explosion happened around 7:50 p.m.  Officials have said firefighters are among the missing.

Damaged: Dozens of homes and other buildings including a school and nursing home have been damaged

This was the devastating scene in Texas after a giant blast ripped through a fertiliser plant leaving up to 70 feared dead and more than 100 injured. The blast left the town of West, 20 miles north of Waco, ‘like a warzone’, and sent a towering plume of toxic smoke into the sky threatening thousands with burns and suffocation. Dozens of homes and buildings have been destroyed and many people are feared trapped after the horrific blast next to an old peoples’ home and school at 7.50pm local time, just before 1am in Britain. The full extent of the loss of life and damage is still being calculated. Local residents, some more than a mile away, reported windows being blown out and hearing an explosion that sounded ‘like a nuclear bomb’. All gas supplies to the area have been stopped.

Trans-humanism Mark of the beast 666 technology singularity closer than you think

New Biometric Cryptology Takes Us One Step Closer To The Mark Of The Beast
Over the years there have been many theories concerning the Mark of the Beast and more specifically how the tracking of everyone’s buying and selling habits can be controlled. Revelation 13:16-17 states: He [the beast] causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Smart Cards, Bio Chips, and Bar Code Scans have been some of the technologies in the last twenty years that have been scrutinized as possible vehicles for a monetary control system that is described in Revelation. There is now a new technology that goes on the watch list that may help usher in a cashless society. While you might expect such a venture to be developed in a mainline University such as MIT, the School of Mines and Technology, a state college in Rapid City, South Dakota is the location of this new technology that is actively being tested among selected students.

For System Of The Beast: The Need To Redefine What It Means To Be Human
What does it mean to be human? Biology has a simple answer: If your DNA is consistent with Homo sapiens, you are human — but we all know that humanity is a lot more complex and nuanced than that. Other schools of science might classify humans by their sociological or psychological behavior, but again we know that actually being humanis more than just the sum of our thoughts and actions. You can also look at being human as a sliding scale. If you were to build a human from scratch, from the bottom up, at some point you cross the threshold into humanity — if you believe in evolution, at some point we ceased being a great ape and became human. Likewise, if you slowly remove parts from a human, you cross the threshold into inhumanity. Again, though, we run into the same problem: How do we codify, classify, and ratify what actually makes us human?

Head-On Collisions Between DNA-Code Reading Accelerates Gene Evolution
Bacteria appear to speed up their evolution by positioning specific genes along the route of expected traffic jams in DNA encoding. Certain genes are in prime collision paths for the moving molecular machineries that read the DNA code, as University of Washington scientists explain in this week’s edition of Nature. The spatial-organization tactics their model organism,Bacillus subtilis, takes to evolve and adapt might be imitated in other related Gram-positive bacteria, including harmful, ever-changing germs like staph, strep, and listeria, to strengthen their virulence or cause persistent infections. The researchers think that these mechanisms for accelerating evolution may be found in other living creatures as well. Replication — the duplicating of the genetic code to create a new set of genes- and transcription — the copying of DNA code to produce a protein — are not separated by time or space in bacteria. Therefore, clashes between these machineries are inevitable. Replication traveling rapidly along a DNA strand can be stalled by a head-on encounter or same-direction brush with slower-moving transcription.
